Wang Yi told Pompeo that China believes that the U.S. wants to discuss the DPRK issue with Beijing, which shows the two big countries, who are also permanent members of the UN Security Council, need to strengthen their communication and take international responsibility. This kind of cooperation requires healthy and stable bilateral ties, Wang said. Washington has made several unfounded accusations against China's domestic and foreign policies in the past few days, impacting mutual trust between the two countries, the minister said, urging the U.S. to immediately correct its behavior.
