Over two dozen civilians were injured as a mine planted by Taliban militants went off Saturday night in southern Afghan province of Ghazni, deputy provincial police chief Mohammad Hussain said Sunday. "The bomb planted and detonated by Taliban next to a mosque in Ghazni city the capital of Ghazni province Saturday night wounded 27 civilians all innocent prayers," Hussain told Xinhua. All the victims have been taken to hospital and they are in stable conditions. A car bomb blast in the neighboring Kandahar province Saturday night left one dead and 11 others injured. |
